Question:
What do you get when you cross a comedian and the disease of alcoholism?
Answer: An amazing story of recovery and resolve.
Mike Green is an accomplished Stand-Up Comedian who has performed
in 48 states and is a regular Headliner at the Comedy Stop
at the Tropicana in both Las Vegas and Atlantic City. While
a talented performer, Mike is also a recovering alcoholic. Although
it was an uphill battle for him that included one Felony, two D.U.I.L's,
and three ex-wives he now manages to balance levity and the severity
of his addiction while speaking openly about his sometimes humorous
past. He is able to shroud an educational lecture beneath a very
funny stand-up routine; after which you may find yourself thinking,
"Alcohol is no laughing matter, or is it?"
No Arms...
No Legs...
No Handicaps.
(No disabilities either!)
Brett
was born in 1971 with a congenital birth defect known as Quadmembral
Limbs Deficiency. He has no arms and no legs.
Brett believes you're a success only if you choose to be. He also
believes you are handicapped only if you allow yourself to be, and
considers his body a very special gift to be used to inspire others
to be the best they can be!
As a motivational speaker, Brett has spoken in the U.S., Canada,
Mexico, Japan, Okinaw, Panama and Aruba. He has brought his inspirational
message to over one million students and adults worldwide!
Each of Brett's presentations are designed to enhance self-esteem
and high achievement levels within the individual. He teaches that,
with the right amount of self-advocacy, it is much easier to deal
with society's crutches, such as the "I can't do it!"
attitude and the urge to draw attention through negative behavior.
His philosophies can help each individual promote increased productivity
in all areas of life.
